Private Client Probate Solicitor / Legal Executive

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our Private Client department. You will work within a busy, structured environment, managing your own caseload while contributing to a client‑focused team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of Private Client matters, primarily probate work.
• Advise on and handle Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate matters.
• Progress cases from instruction to conclusion with autonomy and support.
• Communicate professionally with clients, acting as an ambassador for the firm’s values.
• Collaborate with the wider Private Client team to ensure seamless service.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a Private Client specialism.
• Typically 3+ years post‑qualification experience (or equivalent) in a Private Client setting.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload across Wills, LPAs and Probate.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organised, proactive and committed to high‑standard client service.
