Private Client Solicitor (2-5 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Private Client Solicitor with 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience to join a supportive team in Cambridgeshire. You will manage an existing caseload covering wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection, estate administration, tax and related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a full private client caseload with minimal supervision.
• Provide high‑quality legal advice across a broad range of private client issues.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients, new clients and third‑party referrers.
• Utilise the firm’s case management system and legal databases to deliver efficient service.

Required profile

• At least 2 years PQE as a Private Client Solicitor.
• Proven ability to run a full caseload independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, well‑organised, punctual and confident.
• Team‑player who can also work autonomously.

Required skills

• Good IT proficiency, including the use of a case management system.
• Working knowledge of legal databases.
