Private Client Solicitor – Brighton

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our Brighton office. The successful candidate will work within a supportive, collaborative team delivering high‑quality advice and building long‑term relationships with affluent clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse private client caseload from initial instruction through to completion.
• Provide expert advice on wills, lasting powers of attorney, Court of Protection matters, estate administration and probate.
• Maintain the firm’s reputation for exceptional client care and accurate legal advice.
• Develop and nurture strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced fee earner with a background in private client work.
• Proven ability to handle private client matters independently.
• Strong technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Empathetic, approachable and team‑oriented.
• STEP qualification or willingness to pursue accreditation is advantageous.
