About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Trusts & Estates Practitioner to join a well‑established law firm in Devon. You will handle a diverse portfolio of private client matters, providing expert, client‑focused advice across wills, probate, trusts, and related areas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload that includes wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.
• Provide tax and succession planning advice to high‑net‑worth individuals and families.
• Deliver clear, accurate legal guidance and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with senior partners to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of private client experience.
• Strong knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration.
• STEP qualification or studies desirable but not essential.
