Private Client Solicitor (Farnham)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our well‑established Private Client team in Farnham. The role offers the chance to shape a growing department, provide high‑quality advice and build lasting relationships with an expanding client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload covering wills, estate planning, probate, estate administration, trusts, tax planning, powers of attorney and Court of Protection work.
• Deliver clear, empathetic and practical advice tailored to each client’s circumstances.
• Mentor junior team members and share expertise to support department development.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and promote the firm’s private client services.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory and professional standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience in Private Client law.
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts and tax planning.
• Client‑focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• STEP qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
