Private Client Solicitor (NQ-2 Years PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Solicitor (or Chartered Legal Executive) to join our growing practice in Somerset. The successful candidate will manage a diverse private client portfolio, delivering high‑quality advice and administration for estates and related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Administer taxable and non‑taxable estates, including probate work.
• Provide inheritance and succession planning advice.
• Handle estate administration and related client queries.
• Assist with trusts and Court of Protection matters where required.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years PQE.
• Strong technical knowledge of private client law and excellent client‑care skills.
• Ability to manage an independent caseload confidently.
• Proactive, organised and able to maintain high service standards.
