About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified (NQ+) Private Client Solicitor to join a respected regional firm in Chelmsford. You will work on a diverse range of private client matters, developing your expertise while benefiting from hybrid working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on all aspects of private client law, including wills, trusts, and tax planning.
• Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
• Draft legal documents and liaise with clients to understand their needs.
• Collaborate with senior team members to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (NQ+) with experience in private client work.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and practice areas.
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when required.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of private client law and case management.
• Proficiency in drafting wills, trusts, and related documents.
• Familiarity with tax implications for private clients.
