The Legists is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its Cheltenham office as a Partner. This senior position offers a clear pathway to equity ownership and the opportunity to lead and mentor a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private client matters, ensuring high‑quality legal advice.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the practice.
• Mentor junior lawyers and oversee day‑to‑day team operations.
• Maintain and expand a network of referrals and professional contacts.
• Contribute to the firm’s strategic growth plan and future leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience in private client law.
• Established reputation within the regional market, preferably at partner level.
• Excellent communication skills, high integrity and strong commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to build and develop a private client caseload.
