Private Client Solicitor – £60,000+ (DOE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our Salisbury office. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of high‑value private client matters, working closely with specialist colleagues and taking on supervisory responsibilities within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Administer large and complex taxable testate and intestate estates.
• Handle estate administrations for national charities.
• Prepare wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and provide inheritance tax advice.
• Deliver practical, high‑quality advice to individuals, families and charitable organisations.
• Collaborate with Private Client, Contentious Trusts and Probate teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise and support junior solicitors and paralegals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in private client work.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate administration and tax.
• Empathetic, professional approach to vulnerable and elderly clients.
• Proven ability to mentor junior colleagues.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
