Private Client Solicitor – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a leading, award‑winning firm. The role can be performed fully remotely or from the firm’s office in Bedford, offering flexibility and a supportive, family‑friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an existing caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate and estate administration.
• Provide advice and drafting services for Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA), inheritance tax planning and trusts.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and liaise with external referrers.
• Mentor and support junior members of the department.
• Collaborate with other practice areas to expand service offerings.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with proven experience in private client work.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a cohesive team.
• Strong client‑focused approach and excellent communication skills.
• STEP membership is advantageous but not mandatory.
