Private Client Solicitor / Senior Associate (3+ PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Solicitor / Senior Associate with at least three years post‑qualification experience to join a growing, award‑winning firm in Cambridge. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team, delivering high‑quality advice to private clients and contributing to the firm’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private client matters, including wills, trusts, and tax planning.
• Achieve billing, time and fee‑earning targets in line with firm objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex projects and provide mentorship to junior fee‑earners.
• Maintain compliance with the firm’s credit‑control and risk‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum three years PQE in private client law.
• Proven ability to meet billing and fee‑earning targets.
• Strong project and time‑management capabilities.
• Professional, organised, enthusiastic and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Extensive experience across all areas of private client work.
