Private Client Solicitor (Swansea)

About the role

An established law firm in Swansea is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team. The role involves managing a varied caseload of private client matters and developing strong client relationships within a supportive, client‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of private client matters, including wills, estate planning, probate, lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning and trusts.
• Provide clear, practical and empathetic advice to clients.
• Handle matters from instruction through to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the department.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
• Experience handling private client matters independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, LPAs and estate administration.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• STEP qualification or working towards STEP is advantageous but not essential.
