Private Client Solicitor – Swansea

About the role

The Legists, an established law firm in Swansea, is looking for a Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team. You will work with individuals and families across South Wales, delivering clear, practical advice and a high level of client care.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of private client matters, including wills, estate planning, probate, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning and trusts.
• Provide clear, empathetic advice to clients throughout the matter lifecycle.
• Handle cases from initial instruction through to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Contribute to business development and the growth of the private client department.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• Proven experience handling private client matters independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, LPAs and estate administration.
• Excellent client care and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• STEP qualification or progress towards it is advantageous.
