Private Client Solicitor – Wills, Trusts & Probate

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our established team in Exeter. You will work with high‑net‑worth individuals, providing bespoke legal solutions across wills, trusts, probate and estate planning.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and manage wills and trusts for private clients.
• Oversee lasting powers of attorney and related documentation.
• Handle probate matters and administer complex estates.
• Advise clients on estate tax, succession planning and related compliance.
• Manage Court of Protection applications.
• Collaborate with senior partners to deliver tailored solutions for high‑net‑worth clients.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience handling a broad range of private client matters.
• Strong understanding of wills, trusts, probate and estate planning.
• Interest in developing tax specialist expertise is welcomed but not essential.
