Private Client Tax Assistant Manager – Advisory

About the role

This position sits within a specialist Private Client Tax team that advises high‑net‑worth individuals, families and their businesses on complex tax planning matters. You will work from our Birmingham office with hybrid flexibility, building strong relationships with dynamic clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advisory tax services covering business structuring, disposals, inheritance tax, trust planning and international tax residency.
• Conduct bespoke technical research for complex projects and produce high‑quality tax reports.
• Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs on behalf of clients.
• Develop internal networks and stay current with UK and international tax law developments.

Required profile

• Professional tax qualification (ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Experience in UK private client or corporate tax advisory, including shareholder tax issues and estate planning.
• Proven ability to interact confidently with clients and manage advisory and compliance matters.
• Motivation to deepen knowledge of the firm’s services.
