Private Client Tax Assistant Manager – Personal Tax (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join our Personal Tax team in the Thames Valley. The role is hybrid and full‑time, offering the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of self‑assessment and Making Tax Digital (MTD) clients while developing advisory expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of self‑assessment and MTD tax returns for individual clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and finalise more complex returns, providing technical support to senior team members.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients across phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and contribute to cross‑service advisory work.
• Coach and support junior team members, maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

Required profile

• ATT and/or CTA qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Solid experience in personal tax compliance.
• Strong organisational abilities and a proactive, client‑focused mindset.
