Private Client Tax Manager – Crawley

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join a well‑established professional services firm in Crawley. The role involves managing a portfolio of private client tax matters, providing expert advice, and ensuring compliance with ever‑changing legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private client tax cases, delivering timely and accurate services.
• Provide expert advice on complex tax planning and compliance issues.
• Review tax returns prepared by the team to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support clients through changes in tax legislation and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Assist in training and developing junior staff members.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities within the professional services sector.

Required profile

• Professional qualifications in accountancy or tax (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of private client tax regulations and compliance.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of private client tax cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• High attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach with a client‑focused mindset.
