Private Client Tax Manager (Interim) – London

About the role

This interim position offers an experienced Private Client Tax Manager the chance to join a well‑established boutique firm in Marylebone for a three‑month assignment, with the possibility of extension. You will work within a senior‑level private client team, supporting high‑net‑worth individuals and families on complex tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of UHNW/HNW private clients, entrepreneurs, non‑domiciled individuals and multi‑generational families.
• Prepare and review self‑assessment returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts.
• Advise on complex personal tax issues including offshore trusts, inheritance tax, estate planning and non‑resident status.
• Liaise with HMRC and third‑party advisors to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues and trainees.
• Report directly to Directors and Partners on client matters.

Required profile

• CTA qualification (or equivalent) with a strong UK personal tax background at Manager level or above.
• Experience with non‑domiciled clients, offshore trusts and inheritance tax is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships independently and start at short notice.

Required skills

• CCH tax software (advantageous but not essential)
