Private Client Tax Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a highly reputable chartered accountancy practice in the South East of England to recruit a Private Client Tax Manager. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, families, trusts, estates and entrepreneurial clients across the UK and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for an allocated portfolio of private clients, delivering both advisory and compliance services.
• Lead client meetings, manage ad‑hoc specialist projects and support partners with technical tax advice.
• Oversee and delegate work to junior staff, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and timely compliance filings.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and help grow the practice’s private client base.

Required profile

• Qualified tax professional (ATT, ACA, ACCA or CTA).
• Significant experience in private client/personal tax, with a proven track record of managing client portfolios.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with high‑net‑worth clients.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a senior management team.
