Private Client Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Private Client Tax Manager to join our growing Private Client team. This role offers broad exposure to advisory projects, the chance to work with high‑net‑worth individuals and trusts, and a supportive environment that encourages professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure, trusted relationships with a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals and trusts.
• Provide expert advice on UK income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and other multi‑jurisdictional tax matters.
• Identify opportunities to add value for clients and deepen relationships.
• Deliver advisory work alongside partners and senior managers, ensuring high‑quality service.
• Review work, mentor junior team members and support their development.

Required profile

• ATT qualified with experience in a private client/personal tax role.
• Ideally CTA qualified.
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of private clients and trusts.
• Strong commercial acumen and a client‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• In‑depth technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax.
• Experience delivering multi‑jurisdictional tax advice.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
