Private Client Tax Senior – Hybrid & Flexible Working

About the role

Join a well‑established multi‑partner accountancy practice in South West London as a Private Client Tax Senior. You will work with high‑net‑worth individuals and owner‑managed businesses, developing your technical expertise while receiving full support to study towards CTA.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of UK private clients.
• Prepare and review Self Assessment tax returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts.
• Assist with Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning.
• Support high‑net‑worth clients with property portfolios, rental income taxation and related compliance.
• Advise directors of owner‑managed businesses on personal tax matters, including Making Tax Digital requirements.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Support managers and partners on advisory projects and identify tax planning opportunities.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Assist in the development of junior team members where appropriate.

Required profile

• ATT or ACA qualification (or nearing qualification) with ambition to study towards CTA.
• Experience in UK Private Client Tax within an accountancy practice.
• Genuine interest in personal taxation.
• Exposure to property taxation and investment portfolios (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Making Tax Digital and personal tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach and desire to build a long‑term career in private client tax.
