About the role

We are partnering with a top‑10 UK firm to hire a Private Client Tax Senior Manager for its fast‑growing London office. The role combines high‑value advisory work with compliance for a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, offering real influence on the firm’s private client strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a complex portfolio of high‑net‑worth private clients.
• Deliver a blend of advisory and compliance services, with an increasing focus on advisory work.
• Provide advice on CGT, IHT, residency, structuring and broader tax planning.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, building long‑term relationships.
• Review work prepared by managers and junior team members.
• Lead and develop teams, including workflow planning and performance management.
• Support business development and contribute to new client wins.
• Monitor WIP, utilisation and portfolio profitability.

Required profile

• Commercially aware private client tax professional operating at Manager or Senior Manager level.
• CTA, ACA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong background in private client/personal tax within a practice.
• Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios and deliver advisory solutions.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
