Private Client Tax Senior – Manchester

About the role

A well‑regarded Manchester chartered accountancy firm is expanding its tax team and seeks an experienced Private Client Tax Senior. You will work with a varied portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts and partnerships, delivering high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, including high net‑worth individuals, trusts and partnerships.
• Prepare and review personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and meeting HMRC deadlines.
• Provide tailored tax planning advice based on individual client circumstances.
• Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on tax queries and enquiries.
• Support junior team members through technical guidance and on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• ATT and/or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Previous experience working within a UK practice environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a busy and varied client portfolio independently.
