Private Equity Associate – Healthcare Services

About the role

We are seeking a Private Equity Associate to join a specialist healthcare services investment team in London. Working closely with senior investment professionals, you will be involved in every stage of the deal process, from sourcing opportunities to portfolio monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across healthcare services and related asset‑backed sectors.
• Build detailed financial models and conduct commercial, financial and operational due diligence.
• Support transaction execution from origination through to completion, including preparation of investment committee papers.
• Monitor existing portfolio companies and help drive value‑creation initiatives.
• Prepare market analysis and investment materials for senior stakeholders.
• Liaise with management teams, advisers, lenders and other industry participants throughout the deal lifecycle.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in healthcare M&A, investment banking, private equity, infrastructure investing or a similar buyside environment.
• Proven transaction execution experience on buy‑side or sell‑side mandates.
• Exposure to healthcare services, care‑related businesses, specialist accommodation or community‑based service providers.
• Strong interest in developing deep sector expertise within healthcare services.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial investment setting.
