Process Engineer – Airbus Broughton

About the role

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join Airbus' Manufacturing Engineering team at the Broughton site. You will help industrialise key modifications for the Single Aisle aircraft programme, ensuring smooth integration into production while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Translate design intent into clear technical instructions, routings, Bills of Materials, Statements of Instruction and STV calculations.
• Implement best‑practice methods, tools and processes to meet current and future production requirements.
• Ensure all documentation complies with departmental procedures and regulatory standards.
• Manage and improve manufacturing methods, tools and processes across detail manufacture, assembly, testing and certification.
• Assess manufacturing capacity, identify improvements and recommend design changes where needed.
• Provide mechanical and/or electrical shop‑floor support across Operations, Supply Chain and the Final Assembly Lines.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of lean principles and ability to work from first principles across manufacturing disciplines.
• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Design or related business systems.
• Knowledge of aircraft production methods and procedures is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with engineering and operational teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self‑driven attitude.
