Process Engineer – Manufacturing Process Owner

About the role

The Process Engineer will act as Process Owner for critical manufacturing operations, ensuring processes are controlled, compliant and continuously improved. You will work closely with production, engineering, quality and supply‑chain teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve manufacturing and chemical processes according to approved methods and standards.
• Monitor, analyse and report process performance metrics and audit results.
• Lead implementation of new processes, equipment and capital projects.
• Manage material availability, approve new materials and support supply‑chain alternatives.
• Maintain departmental procedures, process documentation and operating instructions.
• Conduct root‑cause investigations, corrective actions and PFMEA activities.
• Support 5S, TPM, OEE measurement and lean improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a complex manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably casting.
• HNC in an engineering discipline (degree preferred).
• Strong understanding of process control, manufacturing methods and continuous improvement.
