Process Leader – Advanced Structures (LAS)

About the role

Lotus UK Manufacturing is seeking a Process Leader for its Advanced Structures (LAS) area at the Norwich plant. You will be responsible for leading one or more manufacturing process zones, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality‑driven operations that meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across fabrication, machining, welding, composites and assembly.
• Maintain HSE standards, conduct risk assessments and drive incident investigations.
• Achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People (SQDCP) targets.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing, 5S and visual management.
• Coordinate shift handovers, resource planning and cross‑functional communication.
• Generate performance reports and participate in tiered meetings.
• Support new product introductions and ensure smooth handover from engineering to production.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading manufacturing teams in a high‑performance environment.
• Strong understanding of HSE, quality and delivery requirements.
• Ability to coach, motivate and develop staff across multiple shifts.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills using structured methods (5 Whys, Fishbone, A3).
