Procurement Business Partner

About the role

The Procurement Business Partner will support the delivery of compliant, value‑for‑money procurement across a growing organisation. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will provide expert advice, manage tender processes and help drive continuous improvement in procurement governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support procurement activity across the organisation.
• Lead end‑to‑end tender and sourcing exercises.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide guidance.
• Ensure compliance with UK procurement legislation and internal policies.
• Develop and improve procurement procedures, templates and documentation.
• Deliver procurement training and awareness programmes.
• Assist with supplier and contract management, including performance reviews.
• Maintain accurate procurement and contract records.
• Monitor spend, savings and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a procurement role, preferably in the public sector or a regulated environment.
• Experience managing or supporting tender processes.
• Good understanding of UK public procurement regulations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse data and produce procurement reports.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
