Procurement Manager – 6‑Month Hybrid Contract

About the role

We are supporting a leading UK organisation in need of an experienced Procurement Manager on a 6‑month contract (possible extension). The role is hybrid, with one day per week on‑site in Windsor or nearby hub locations, and offers the chance to work across a broad portfolio of direct and indirect spend.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing and procurement activities for multiple business‑critical projects.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for a variety of categories.
• Manage tender and competitive sourcing exercises, from brief to award.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with suppliers.
• Partner with stakeholders across supply chain, construction, technology, marketing and other functions.
• Oversee several procurement projects simultaneously, ensuring risk management and value delivery.

Required profile

• Significant procurement experience in complex commercial environments.
• Proven track record in sourcing, tendering and contract negotiation.
• Broad exposure to multiple categories rather than a single specialist area.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.
• Degree‑level education or equivalent experience; MCIPS qualification desirable.
