Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

About the role

This newly created permanent position is based in London and reports to the Head of Procurement. You will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for a portfolio of indirect spend exceeding £100 million, helping the business achieve cost‑effective and compliant procurement outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals across multiple indirect categories.
• Manage the full supplier lifecycle, including RFI/RFP/tender processes, contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Analyse market trends to inform purchasing decisions and ensure best‑in‑class pricing.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with operational priorities.
• Prepare and present regular procurement reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably handling spend of £100 million+.
• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Ability to interpret market data and make strategic sourcing decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Full understanding of the procurement life‑cycle and tender management.
