Procurement Officer – Hybrid (Trafford Park)

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Officer to join a commercial organisation in Trafford Park on a hybrid basis. The role involves managing contracts, analysing spend, and delivering cost savings while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement contracts from initiation to completion.
• Analyse spend data and identify opportunities for savings.
• Administer tender processes and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Utilise e‑procurement systems and tools to streamline purchasing activities.
• Develop and apply category‑specific procurement strategies.
• Prepare and present reports for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing procurement contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse spend and achieve cost reductions.
• Hands‑on experience with tender administration.
• Familiarity with e‑procurement platforms and category strategies.
• Strong understanding of commercial markets and relevant legislation such as OJEU and EU procurement directives.
