Procurement Specialist – MCIPS Qualified (Hybrid)

About the role
Join the Civil Nuclear Constabulary as a Procurement Specialist. This permanent, hybrid position requires an MCIPS qualification and offers the chance to influence procurement across a public‑sector police organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement for projects with budgets exceeding £1 million.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and government requirements.
- Provide expert guidance to stakeholders and mentor fellow procurement professionals.
- Lead key tenders, monitor non‑pay spend and drive value for money.
- Collaborate on strategic projects, manage workstreams and improve commercial policies.
- Prioritise health, safety and sustainability in all procurement activities.
Required profile
- MCIPS qualification (mandatory).
- Proven public‑sector procurement experience.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.
- Project‑management capability to handle multiple contracts.
- Attention to detail and UK residency of at least five years.
