Producibility Design Lead Engineer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead to drive producibility and manufacturability of aero‑engine components for its customers in the Derby/Bristol region. You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team through product development, production and after‑market service phases, ensuring safety, quality and cost targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders and translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers, fostering collaboration across design, production and service functions.
• Ensure deliverables meet expectations for quality, safety, cost, schedule and manufacturability.
• Conduct peer reviews and guarantee compliance with aerospace standards.
• Manage non‑conformance assessments, technical variances and overhaul processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience with turbomachinery components (gas turbines) in power or aviation.
• Strong knowledge of aero‑engine modules such as compressors, turbines, combustion, structures, casings, rotatives and airfoils.
• Proven ability to capture scope, work with internal stakeholders and keep projects on target.
• Experience in design, development and non‑conformance/variance assessment of aero‑engine parts.
