Producibility Stress Engineer Lead – Technology Lead (Aerospace)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a senior technology lead to head a team of stress engineers focused on producibility for aero‑engine and turbomachinery projects. You will work from our Derby/Bristol hub, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality stress analysis solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of stress engineers.
• Drive technical delivery excellence across stress analysis, vibration, and non‑conformance assessments.
• Interface with key stakeholders, including other stress specialists, to capture requirements and ensure project alignment.
• Steer high‑level stress analysis tasks for gas turbine and aero‑engine components.
• Mentor engineers, manage priorities, and support governance processes.
• Conduct peer reviews and ensure deliverables meet quality, safety, cost, and schedule targets.

Required profile

• Several years of experience working on turbomachinery components such as gas turbines for power or aviation.
• Deep understanding of aero‑engine modules (rotors, compressors, turbines, combustors, structures & casings).
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and requirement capture.
