Product Analyst - Mortgages

About the role

Our client is a fast‑growing fintech mortgage lender operating in the UK residential mortgage market. They are looking for an analytical and commercially‑minded Product Analyst to support product strategy, market analysis and mortgage sourcing optimisation. You will help ensure mortgage products are accurately positioned across sourcing platforms, improving broker experience and product visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Review and optimise how mortgage products are sourced and presented across broker sourcing systems.
• Ensure products are accurately configured and positioned to maximise visibility and competitiveness.
• Analyse broker search behaviour to identify opportunities for improved discoverability and user experience.
• Develop and maintain the sourcing process, keeping it commercially effective.
• Build and maintain relationships with mortgage sourcing platforms and external partners.
• Conduct market and competitor research across the UK residential mortgage market.
• Support product development with commercial analysis and market insight.
• Produce analysis and documentation for governance packs and internal decision‑making.
• Provide clear data‑driven recommendations to stakeholders.
• Explore AI and modern tools to enhance research, analysis and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and numeracy abilities with a commercial mindset.
• Confidence working with large datasets and multiple information sources.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and building relationships.
• Curious, proactive and eager to develop within a growing fintech environment.
