Product Asset Manager

About the role

As a Product Asset Manager for the EMEA region, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, inventory positions and supply planning for a defined supplier portfolio within a global listed company. You will work closely with suppliers, sales, finance, warehouse and internal operations to ensure product availability and meet customer delivery requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders, order reschedules, backlogs and delivery schedules to meet customer demand.
• Monitor and optimise inventory levels, balancing availability with stock quality, inventory turns and reduction of excess or slow‑moving stock.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, sales teams and internal stakeholders to resolve supply issues.
• Track supplier lead times, support forecasting and planning, and maintain accurate product and system data.
• Resolve operational issues such as pricing discrepancies, non‑conforming receipts, returns and other supply‑chain exceptions in collaboration with finance, warehouse and shared services.
• Support strategic inventory actions including stock package negotiations, inter‑company transfers and supplier‑focused initiatives to improve service and profitability.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory management, purchasing, supply chain, procurement, logistics or order management.
• Strong analytical skills with confidence working with data, forecasts and stock‑related decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities across suppliers, sales and internal functions.
• Proactive, independent working style with a strong sense of ownership in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English (additional European language a plus).
