Product Delivery Manager – Materials & Environmental Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Product Delivery Manager to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of digital capabilities for materials management, product compliance, and environmental sustainability within a complex aerospace and defence environment. The role is strategic, combining materials engineering, environmental compliance, and digital engineering to shape toolchains, data environments, and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery and improvement of material management and product environmental digital capabilities.
• Develop and optimise digital solutions for materials databases, specifications, batch pedigree, certificates, compliance data and sustainability reporting.
• Create product roadmaps, delivery plans and prioritised backlogs aligned with engineering and programme needs.
• Integrate solutions with the wider Digital Thread to provide end‑to‑end traceability from requirements through manufacturing and testing.
• Define technical baselines, data models, work instructions and ensure compliance with quality, security, airworthiness and environmental standards.
• Capture and consolidate requirements across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and other stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of new tools through training, change management and stakeholder engagement.
• Establish data governance, metadata standards and access controls for sensitive information.
• Coordinate delivery across internal teams, suppliers and system integrators, monitoring performance, risks and technical debt.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product delivery management within aerospace, defence or similarly regulated sectors.
• Strong background in materials engineering and environmental compliance.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex digital projects.
• Active Security Clearance (SC) required.
