Product Development Coordinator – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support our client’s commercial team on a 12‑month fixed‑term maternity cover. Based in Trafford Park, Manchester, you will help drive consumer product projects from concept through launch, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the development of new consumer products from idea to market launch.
• Research market trends, identify new product opportunities and source suppliers.
• Maintain supplier relationships, obtain samples, negotiate pricing and gather product data.
• Coordinate artwork, packaging specifications, barcodes and New Line Forms.
• Raise purchase orders and keep product information up‑to‑date in internal systems.
• Support pricing, product submissions, compliance documentation and code generation.
• Organise product samples, supplier meetings and development timelines.
• Contribute to WEEE reporting, manage product discontinuations and attend trade shows as required.

Required profile

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in product development, buying, commercial support or a similar coordination role.
• Proven experience working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £30,000‑£33,000 per year, DOE.
• £1,500 completion bonus.
• 12‑month fixed‑term contract with a full handover.
• Office‑based role, Monday‑Friday 8:00‑16:00.
