Product Governance Analyst

About the role

The Product Governance Analyst will join an insurance organisation operating in the Lloyd's market, working on a hybrid schedule with three days a week in the City of London. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in conduct risk, regulatory frameworks and product lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Product Governance and Customer Outcomes Manager in applying the Product Governance Framework to all products.
• Contribute to annual conduct risk assessments for new and renewal business.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive governance activities and raise issues when necessary.
• Assist in reviewing fair‑value assessments and ensure product reviews meet FCA requirements.
• Identify, document and escalate material findings to the Product Oversight Forum.
• Maintain and update product governance documentation, frameworks and audit responses.
• Coordinate governance forums and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking and action tracking.
• Collect and analyse management information to evaluate product performance and develop reporting dashboards.

Required profile

• Proactive self‑starter with solid knowledge of insurance regulation.
• Prior experience in an insurance or financial services environment.
• Strong interest in regulatory frameworks, conduct risk and customer‑focused product development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple governance activities.
