Product Inspection & Packaging Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established pharmaceutical company to find an Inspection, Labelling & Packaging (ILP) Manager. The role leads inspection, labelling and packaging operations in a regulated, sterile environment, ensuring compliance with GMP and delivering specialist allergy treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inspection, labelling and packaging of sterile products.
• Lead and develop a team of Packaging Technicians.
• Maintain full GMP, MHRA and HS&E compliance.
• Manage audits, CAPAs, change controls and non‑conformances.
• Plan production schedules and coordinate output.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with production, quality and supply‑chain teams.

Required profile

• Experience in a sterile manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP, MHRA regulations and packaging/inspection processes.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise production teams.
• Competence in managing quality systems such as CAPA, deviations and audits.
• Organised, detail‑focused and able to lead from the front.
