Product Manager – Open Finance Data

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of data‑driven Open Finance products. You will work across engineering, data science, sales, legal and regional teams to turn market opportunities into successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of Mastercard’s open finance data products, sources and enrichment concepts.
• Conduct customer discovery to identify unmet needs, workflows and pain points.
• Synthesise market insight, competitor research and internal priorities into clear opportunity assessments.
• Define problem statements, value hypotheses, MVPs, success metrics and learning plans.
• Track product performance, surface insights and collaborate with product leadership.
• Contribute to business cases, pricing, packaging and go‑to‑market plans.
• Partner with engineering and data science to navigate technical constraints.
• Ensure compliance with data, consent and privacy standards alongside legal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; analytical or technical degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager on technology‑led or data‑driven products.
• Strong curiosity about customers and ability to translate research into product decisions.
• Analytical mindset with skill in defining metrics and evaluating trade‑offs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Prior experience in Open Banking or Open Finance.
• Proactive ownership, risk management and accountability for outcomes.
• Experience delivering cross‑functional data solutions that drive business value.
