Product Manager - Public Sector

Key responsibilities

• Vision & Strategy Alignment: Defining, creating, and aligning delivery teams around the product’s vision, key goals, and target success metrics.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Gathering insights and requirements from cross‑functional stakeholders to secure buy‑in on major directional decisions.
• Backlog & Workstream Creation: Translating stakeholder requirements and user needs into clear, actionable workstreams, user stories, and product backlogs.
• Agile & Cloud Delivery: Collaborating closely with cross‑functional agile teams to deliver user‑centred, cloud‑native digital solutions.
• Methodology Application: Adapting and leveraging IBM Services methodologies, delivery artefacts, and best practices to maintain high‑quality execution and drive targeted outcomes.

Required profile

• Familiarity with Agile delivery principles, user‑centred design concepts, and product backlog management.
• A basic understanding of modern cloud‑native technologies, software development concepts, and tooling.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to engage cross‑functional stakeholders and translate high‑level requirements into clear tasks.
• A proactive mindset with a drive to learn and adapt IBM Services methodologies, processes, and delivery frameworks.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills to help align team objectives with overall program goals.
