Product Marketing Manager

About the role

You are the voice guardian, owning how Outpost sounds across blog, social, launch copy, website, customer communications and decks. You will set and enforce editorial standards while collaborating closely with design.

Key responsibilities

• Own the house style end‑to‑end, keep copy rules alive and ensure every writer stays within them.
• Set editorial standards for blog, social, web and customer communications and edit drafts to sound unmistakably like Outpost.
• Write and rewrite launch copy, landing pages, posts, and customer stories, producing finished assets.
• Partner with designers in Figma to integrate copy into UI, microcopy, and deck designs.
• Protect distinct voices of founders and other contributors while maintaining a coherent company voice.

Required profile

• Exceptionally strong writer and sharper editor, able to improve sentences with clear rationale.
• AI‑native, using tools like Claude to draft decks, battlecards, research competitors and generate multiple message variants quickly.
• Keen sense of brand voice, able to spot off‑brand or generic copy and correct it.
• Ability to simplify complex fintech topics (tax, payments, customs) without dumbing them down.
• Fluent in ambiguity, turning loose briefs and house style into polished, on‑voice deliverables.
• Bias for action – ships, iterates and raises standards through execution.
