About the role
Primer is building the unified infrastructure for global payments. As a Product Marketing Manager you will own the go‑to‑market strategy for the newly created Partners team, shaping messaging, positioning and launch plans to drive market adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the partner marketing engine, from strategy through launch, in close collaboration with the broader marketing team.
- Work with Partner product managers and commercial teams to define target audiences and craft compelling messaging that differentiates Primer’s partner capabilities.
- Translate technical product details into clear, buyer‑focused narratives for partners and merchants.
- Synthesise partner, merchant, sales and market research feedback into a coherent strategic perspective that guides messaging and GTM approaches.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, using data to optimise strategies and achieve business goals.
Required profile
- 4+ years of B2B SaaS marketing or product marketing experience with a track record of launching successful products.
- Ability to turn technical product details into messaging that resonates with non‑technical buyers or partners.
- Experience conducting competitive and buyer research and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong project‑management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experiment‑mindset, taking ownership of outcomes and driving work with minimal oversight.
- Nice‑to‑have background in payments, fintech or infrastructure products, or willingness to acquire domain knowledge quickly.
- Creative judgment to brief teams and agencies and push for sharper, unexpected ideas.
- Experience in two‑sided marketplaces, balancing supply‑side and demand‑side value propositions.
