Product Owner – 18‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Product Owner to join our flagship technology transformation programme within the Retail B2B2C business. This 18‑month fixed‑term role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site in London and remotely while collaborating with engineering, design and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, epics and user stories in partnership with the Retail Product Director.
• Create and maintain a product roadmap that reflects strategic direction and priorities.
• Prioritise and refine backlog items based on business value, customer feedback and KPI targets.
• Lead discrete work packages, ensuring delivery of defined benefits and programme milestones.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders—including proposition, operations, distribution, engineering and design—to deliver high‑quality products.
• Monitor market trends, customer insights and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
• Support business readiness and deployment activities for live environment roll‑out.

Required profile

• Degree or professional equivalent, or substantial relevant experience.
• Significant experience as a Product Owner in B2B2C digital propositions or transformation programmes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality focus.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to work hands‑on when needed.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, capable of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
