Product Owner – Innovation (Edgewing)

About the role

The Product Owner – Innovation will lead data‑engineering innovation for Edgewing, defining the future‑state data architecture and enabling seamless integration across engineering tools and ERP systems. You will shape the product vision, ensuring that new capabilities are user‑centred, reliable and support data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously refine the innovation backlog, prioritising work based on strategic impact and technical feasibility.
• Translate emerging data‑architecture concepts and integration requirements into clear, user‑focused product specifications.
• Act as the primary liaison between data‑engineering, digital delivery teams and business stakeholders to align priorities and clarify scope.
• Leverage data‑driven insights to validate solutions, adjust scope and evolve the innovation roadmap.
• Ensure new platform capabilities meet high standards for usability, integration quality, data lineage and end‑to‑end lifecycle visibility.

Required profile

• Experience in defence or another highly regulated industry.
• Proven technical leadership background.
• Deep familiarity with the full data and analytics technology stack, including cloud, private‑cloud and data‑warehousing solutions.
