Product Performance Lead – Team Manager

About the role

GSK is seeking a Product Performance Lead to manage a dedicated team at its flagship manufacturing site in Ware, Hertfordshire. Reporting to the Site MSAT Director, you will be responsible for the local delivery of the technical lifecycle plan and for driving product performance across all active substances and commercial products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~4 Product Owners, ensuring safety, quality compliance and GSK Production System (GPS) are embedded daily.
• Deliver the site‑specific Technical Lifecycle Plan (TLCP) and co‑lead global PTLTs to align platform and process strategies.
• Identify and implement strategic product or process improvements to enhance performance, reduce cost and increase efficiency.
• Provide rapid, compliant technical support for supply‑impacting issues, driving root‑cause investigations and timely CAPA implementation.
• Matrix manage across GSC & R&D to translate product control strategies into shop‑floor documentation.
• Promote and monitor technical standards, ensuring robust systems for tracking, trending and analysing product and process performance.
• Drive proactive talent management, succession planning and capability building within the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing product performance or similar functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of technical lifecycle management and product risk, change and knowledge management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at global and site level.
• Familiarity with GSK Production System (GPS) principles or equivalent manufacturing excellence frameworks.
