Product Quality Controller – Belfast

About the role

The Product Quality Controller will ensure that product hardware and associated equipment meet customer, regulatory and specification requirements. Reporting to the Product Assurance Manager, the role supports Airbus Belfast’s commitment to high‑quality aerospace manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, quality control and quality assurance activities on aerospace products.
• Verify product compliance with design specifications, customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Provide instruction and advice to operators and monitor the Delegated Operator Scheme.
• Work flexibly within teams and produce technical reports on drawing, process or tooling anomalies.
• Support investigations and corrective actions arising from identified non‑conformities.

Required profile

• Completed a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship.
• Minimum 2 years post‑apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace, manufacturing, assembly or tooling environment.
• Familiarity with quality control requirements and company manufacturing/assembly standards.
• ONC/A‑Levels or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
• Knowledge of 3D metrology is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications and communicate findings effectively.
