Product Security Incident Response Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices, Inc., a global semiconductor company, is looking for a Product Security Incident Response Engineer to join its team in either the Limerick, Ireland or Edinburgh, Scotland office. The role identifies security vulnerabilities in products and works with product teams to fix them in a cost-effective way.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate product incident response activities, from external and internal finders, across multiple product lines with a strong focus on software.
• Partner with product engineering teams to identify, triage, develop and test remediations while following the PSIRT process.
• Assist with security assessments of products during development to comply with industry standards and best practices.
• Communicate professionally with external and internal finders, such as security researchers contacting ADI about potential vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of demonstrable proficiency in incident response in one or more of IoT, hardware, web applications or software applications.
• Able to learn new technologies, products and tooling and apply the PSIRT process.
• Strong understanding of security fundamentals and clear communication with stakeholders and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree required; preferred candidates have prior software, web, silicon or IoT development experience and a security certification (CEH, CISSP, GIAC, GCIH, GCIA) or can obtain one within 6 months.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time; shift is 1st shift/days.
