Product Specialist – Licensed Consumer Products

About the role

We are seeking a Product Specialist to lead the development and management of licensed consumer product ranges. Working within a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment, you will own product categories from concept through licensing approval, launch and ongoing performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full product lifecycle for licensed categories, from idea generation to market launch.
• Secure licensing approvals and maintain relationships with brand owners.
• Collaborate with UK and international suppliers and manufacturers to develop and source products.
• Analyse sales and performance data to drive pricing, margin and assortment decisions.
• Negotiate with suppliers and oversee supplier performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including design, marketing and retail.

Required profile

• Experience in product development, product management or own‑label buying within a licensing environment.
• Proven track record of taking products from concept to launch.
• Commercial awareness with exposure to pricing, margins and supplier negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience working with licensed brands and managing approval processes.
• Knowledge of UK and international sourcing and manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret sales and performance data.
